Launch of the Mental Health Dashboard: A Step Toward Data-Driven Mental Health Reform

As part of European Mental Health Week 2025, GAMIAN-Europe is excited to announce the launch of the Mental Health Dashboard. This new tool brings together critical data from across the EU, offering a comprehensive view of the mental health landscape. It provides a dynamic platform for tracking and understanding the prevalence of mental health conditions, levels of perceived stigma, and national policies, including investment, services, and workforce capacity.

This dashboard is designed to support advocates, researchers, and policymakers in making informed decisions by providing key insights into mental health trends and challenges in Europe. It serves as a powerful resource to help push for rights-based, data-driven mental health reforms and to ensure that mental health remains a top priority on the European policy agenda.

Key features of the dashboard include:

  • Prevalence Data: Access up-to-date statistics on the spread of mental health conditions across Europe, allowing for a better understanding of where the greatest needs lie.

  • Stigma Levels: Track and analyse societal perceptions of mental health, helping to inform campaigns and initiatives aimed at reducing stigma.

  • Policy and Service Information: Gain insight into national policies, investments in mental health, available services, and workforce capacity across EU countries.

The dashboard is designed to evolve over time, with plans for additional data and features to be added as new information becomes available. This evolving tool is not only a snapshot of the current state of mental health in Europe but also a platform that will grow to support future mental health research, advocacy, and policy development.

By providing this comprehensive and accessible tool, GAMIAN-Europe hopes to empower stakeholders across the EU to make more informed decisions, advocate for more effective policies, and drive real change in mental health care.
