Press release: Mentbox Plenary Meeting and participation in the Community Day event in Koper, Slovenia

We are pleased to share the official press release of the MentBox project, which is holding its Plenary Meeting on 11 and 12 September in Koper, Slovenia.

MentBox (The Modular Mental Health Toolbox) is a European initiative co-funded by the EU that aims to identify, adapt, and implement effective interventions for depression, suicide prevention, and non-clinical distress, especially among vulnerable groups. By combining research, lived experience, and cross-country collaboration, the project is developing the Modular Mental Health Toolbox (MH-Toolbox) — a practical set of tools tailored to national contexts and supported by a digital handbook for policymakers and professionals.

Since its launch, MentBox has brought together universities, health services, NGOs, and advocacy organisations across Europe to work toward a shared vision of accessible, evidence-based, and person-centred mental health support. The anniversary meeting in Koper is a milestone to take stock of progress, share experiences, and plan the next steps in building this innovative toolbox.
