GAMIAN-Europe held its Annual General Assembly in Bucharest

GAMIAN-Europe’s 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Bucharest, Romania, on June 3rd and 4th was a resounding success. With participation from members across several countries including Finland, Greece, the Czech Republic, Portugal, the UK, Cyprus, and The Netherlands, the international presence was inspiring. The one-and-a-half-day meeting saw comprehensive discussions on various topics led by our Executive Director Nigel Olisa and GAMIAN-Europe’s President Péter Kéri.

Key points of discussion included our projects for 2023-2024, EU Research Projects, advocacy, and our partnerships and collaborations with other organisations like EPF, EPA, EUFAMI, and EMA. The meeting also featured a SOAR (Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, Results) exercise under the theme “Leading GAMIAN-Europe into the Future.” This was a unique opportunity for our valued members to actively engage and co-create the future of GE, facilitating the strategic plan for the next three years.

The meeting concluded with a Capacity Building session with members facilitated by Dolores Gauci. We are excited about the future and deeply appreciate the continued support and commitment from our members.
