Two upcoming ECNP meetings will explore the very latest developments in pioneering mental health research and their implications for patients.
The ECNP Roadmap Meeting on Precision Psychiatry, ‘From signals to stratification: building evidence for precision psychiatry ’, on 25-26 January 2027 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and virtually, takes ECNP’s precision psychiatry mission to the next level. By looking at clinical trials and how emerging technologies are expanding our understanding of mental illnesses and their underlying biology, it explores the potential of precision psychiatry to transform psychiatric treatment development and patient care. In-person applications are open until 30 October, virtual until 26 January, and can be applied for here.
Two months later, the ECNP New Frontiers Meeting ‘AI in mental health: transforming diagnostics, therapeutics and care’ on 21-22 March 2027 in Nice, France, and virtually, tackles one of the most consequential questions in mental health today: what can artificial intelligence realistically deliver for patients, clinicians and health systems? Bringing together leading experts from around the world, the meeting will examine where AI adds genuine value in mental health care and what its risks and limitations are. Applications for in-person participation and registration for virtual participation will open before the end of August.
