Kolumbus AGM highlights leadership continuity and recognises staff achievements

Kolumbus, a member of GAMIAN-Europe, recently held its Annual General Meeting, where leadership elections took place, and Renata Marková was re-elected as Director, ensuring continuity in the organisation’s work and mission.

The event also marked a moment of recognition, with a team member receiving the Employee of the Year 2025 award in Czechia for their contribution to supporting people with disabilities.

The meeting was also a time of reflection, as colleagues came together to honour the memory of a team member who recently passed away, holding a minute of silence in her remembrance.

Sad news: one of our colleagues committed suicide. We had a minute of silence for her.

Looking ahead, preparations are underway for the GAMIAN-Europe Annual General Meeting, scheduled for May in Prague.
