World Mental Health Day 2024
To mark World Mental Health Day 2024, GAMIAN-Europe launched a powerful video animation and accompanying report to address the stigma surrounding major mental health conditions. The project highlights the real-life impact of stigma through personal stories and social media analysis, calling for greater empathy, understanding, and inclusion. It aims to challenge negative stereotypes and foster a society where people with lived experience can thrive free from discrimination.

This World Mental Health Day 2025, GAMIAN-Europe shines a light on the everyday realities of mental health stigma with the launch of the Stigma Project. Combining a powerful video and a research-driven report, the initiative examines how stigma spreads online and how people with lived experience use their voices to push back. It urges greater compassion, awareness, and equality for all those affected by mental health conditions.
