ADEB Marks 35 Years with International Mental Health Meeting

15 September 2026

The Portuguese Association for the Support of Depressive and Bipolar Patients (ADEB) will host an international meeting on 9 October at the Queluz National Palace, near Lisbon.

The event, titled “Depression and Bipolar Disorder: 35th Anniversary of ADEB,” will also mark World Mental Health Day. It is organised in cooperation with the Municipality of Sintra.

The meeting will bring together mental health organisations, people with lived experience, families, healthcare professionals, activists and representatives from European associations. Participants will share experiences and discuss different approaches to supporting people affected by depression and bipolar disorder.

The programme will also include a guided visit to the Queluz National Palace and opportunities for networking among mental health stakeholders from Portugal and across Europe. Check the full programme.
