POCDF is a Portuguese association. We work to give people access to evidence-based OCD treatment. We train therapists. We support patients and families.

Family Workshop, 21 September

Dr. Jenny Yip leads an online workshop for families of people with OCD. Dr. Yip is an international OCD specialist. The workshop teaches families how to support a loved one with OCD without feeding the OCD cycle. Families learn to set kind, firm boundaries and to handle distress or resistance. The workshop takes place on Microsoft Teams. Price: €50 for non-members, €20 for associate members.

EPR Training Course, 12–14 October

POCDF runs its second EPR training course. EPR is the international gold-standard treatment for OCD. This is the only EPR course in Portugal accredited by the Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses, with 16 credits. The faculty includes Dr. Jenny Yip and Prof. Dr. Albino Maia, President of the POCDF Scientific Council. The first edition trained 26 therapists; the goal for 2026 is 60. The course takes place at Fundação Champalimaud.
