Adferiad, a GAMIAN-Europe member organisation based in Wales, is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of their second Children & Young Persons Sanctuary (CYP) next month. The CYP Sanctuary is an out-of-hours service that provides practical and therapeutic, holistic person-centered support to people at risk of mental health crises.
This ensures that young individuals in the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot areas have access to the support they need, exactly when they need it. This new service will mirror the compassionate support and advice offered by our other sanctuary services, catering specifically to those in crisis.
In addition to expanding their sanctuary services, January marked the launch of Adferiad’s organisation-wide Future Leaders Programme. Integrating part of their staff, who emerged successful in the application process, were welcomed on the opening day.
This event was not only an opportunity to outline the qualifications involved but also set the stage with activities and tasks that offer a glimpse into the exciting journey ahead.
Both initiatives underscore Adferiad’s commitment to nurturing both the well-being of the communities they serve and the development of their staff.
Through the expansion of Adferiad’s sanctuary services and the investment in their Future Leaders Programme, the organisation is steadfast in their mission to provide unwavering support and foster leadership within the organisation.
