Suicide prevention

in young men

Currently, the second leading cause of death in young people is suicide and each year, there are 900.000 suicides globally with 65,000 of these occurring in EU countries. 90% of suicide victims have been shown to have had a mental health condition.

Exploring suicidality

in LGBTQIA+ people

The issue of mental health difficulties among LGBTQIA+ youth is complex and urgent. These young people often face more challenges than their cisgender and heterosexual counterparts, especially when it comes to mental health conditions and a higher risk of suicidality.

Addressing suicidality in

older people across Europe

The issue of suicidality among older adults is complex and urgent. Older people face unique challenges, particularly regarding mental health, loneliness, and socioeconomic difficulties. This increases their risk of suicide, requiring targeted interventions to improve mental well-being.

 Workplace Stress and Suicide

Workplace stress significantly contributes to mental health problems and suicide risk. In Europe, 84 million people are affected, with stress, depression and anxiety being the second most common work-related issues. Nearly 45% of workers face mental health risks, underscoring the need for workplace interventions.
