Migraines and mental health in women
Women point to the many challenges they experienced with migraine attacks and a mental health condition. The negative impact of this comorbid condition on women’s mental health is considerable, rendering many unable to do anything for days.
Cancer and Depression
Cancer patients with a pre-existing depression diagnosis also face significant challenges. Cancer can be poorly treated or overlooked, with the symptoms misattributed as an expression of the mental health condition due to ignorance, stigma or discrimination.
