COVID-19 and Mental Health
COVID-19 has been a global pandemic for over 2 years now and while the evident economic effects have been well documented, the residual and ongoing effects of mental health are still relatively unknown. The WHO estimated that the global prevalence of anxiety and depression increased globally by the drastic amount of 25%. GAMIAN-Europe is dedicated to the continued understanding of the true effects of this global pandemic on people’s mental health and going forward will be involved in various projects.
