GAMIAN-Europe Joins the Brain Innovation Days 2024 in Brussels

GAMIAN-Europe was proud to participate in the Brain Innovation Days 2024, held in Brussels on 13-14 November under the theme “Navigating the Brain Across a Lifetime.” This highly anticipated event brought together leaders in brain research, innovation, and advocacy to explore cutting-edge developments in brain health.

Bringing the Patient Voice to the Forefront

Accompanied by 8 inspiring patients from our member organisations, GAMIAN-Europe ensured that the patient perspective was central to discussions. These individuals shared their lived experiences, highlighting the importance of prioritising mental health and brain health in research and policymaking.

Our president Peter Kéri also participated in a panel discussion ‘Enhancing Brain Health Through Sound’, sharing his personal experiences and how breathing, sound, and music can promote brain health and combat brain disorders.
