In 2025, EACLIPT strengthened its European scientific and professional community through conferences, publishing, and early-career engagement.
A key highlight was the EACLIPT 2025 Conference, “Clinical Psychology in Transition”, held in Frankfurt from 28–30 May. The event brought together 214 participants and featured an international programme with 10 keynote speakers, alongside workshops and roundtable discussions addressing the future of psychological treatments and major societal challenges.
EACLIPT also expanded its educational outreach through a series of webinars. These included “Publishing in a High-Quality Journal: Behind the Scenes at The Lancet Psychiatry”, as well as joint sessions with partner organisations such as the European Pain Federation (EFIC) and the Psychosocial Aspects of Diabetes (PSAD) Study Group. These collaborations focused on key topics, including mental health in the workplace and the psychological impact of chronic conditions.
In publishing, EACLIPT’s official journal, Clinical Psychology in Europe (CPE), released 30 articles across four issues in 2025. A major milestone was the journal receiving its first Impact Factor of 2.4.
Finally, EACLIPT continued to invest in the next generation of professionals by strengthening early-career initiatives linked to its conference and broader activities, while maintaining active engagement with members through its website and social media channels.
