European Mental Health Week 2023

For EMHW 2023, a short interactive PDF document was created by GAMIAN-Europe to showcase various impactful local mental health initiatives across different European countries. The purpose of this document is to highlight and share the wonderful efforts that diverse communities are implementing across the continent.

European Mental Health Week 2024

For EMHW 2024, we launched a series of videos titled “Is AI Stigmatising Mental Health?” This series focused on the potential bias in AI towards people living with mental health conditions.. We asked AI to generate images of people living with different mental health conditions and then invited individuals with these conditions to comment and react to the results.

European Mental Health Week 2025

To mark EMHW 2025, GAMIAN-Europe launched three interactive dashboards tracking mental health prevalence, stigma, and national policy responses across Europe. Accompanied by the webinar Making Mental Health Visible: Data as a Tool for Rights, the initiative highlights the urgent need for better data to drive inclusive, rights-based mental health reform. These tools offer a foundation for evidence-based advocacy and informed policymaking.

European Mental Health Week 2026

To mark EMHW 2026, GAMIAN-Europe is launching the interactive quiz “Which Best Practice Fits Your Community?”, connecting users with real mental health initiatives from across Europe. The tool helps individuals and organisations identify solutions that match their needs and contexts, while promoting knowledge-sharing and the adaptation of effective practices across communities.
