With the European Commission’s announcement of an initiative towards mental health, called a comprehensive approach to mental health, and their subsequent call for evidence around this, GAMIAN-Europe and it’s members decided to write a feedback paper laying out what needs to be included.

The paper is broken down into general and specific comments that focus on the political context, addressing what this initiative should aim to achieve and how better regulation can and must be implemented.
