Virtual Brain Twin

Virtual Brain Twin for personalised treatment of Psychiatric Disorders is a European-funded project coordinated by EBRAINS that aims to create an ecosystem for generating virtual brain twins for psychiatric patients that will guide clinicians to optimise medication type and dosage, and to evaluate alternative treatments, such as brain stimulation and lifestyle changes. GAMIAN-Europes' role involves contributing to the ethical perspective on virtual brain twins, drawing on an ongoing analysis of ethics literature, qualitative interviews with patients and citizens and population surveys. GAMIAN will also support the organisation of multidisciplinary co-labs for the definition, validation, and valorisation of the virtual patient platform and support mobilise and involve neuroscientists, clinicians, healthcare professionals, patients, citizens, and industrial actors in the co-creation of the virtual patient platform. More information will be available soon.
