We are excited to announce an upcoming online event organized by GAMIAN-Europe and the European Psychiatric Association (EPA) on the occasion of World Schizophrenia Day.

The joint event will take place on May 24th at 11 CET and will present the findings of a two-year project focused on strengthening and improving the therapeutic relationship between patients with schizophrenia and their psychiatrists.

Titled “Living with schizophrenia: hearing the different perspectives” the webinar will engage patients, carers, practitioners, and policy-makers in an insightful discussion moderated by GAMIAN-Europe’s board member, Dr Matt Muijen. The event will also feature the participation of the European Federation of Associations of Families of People with Mental Illness (EUFAMI), which played an essential role in bringing the voice of schizophrenia patients’ carers.
